Plainfield Ponderings - Scripture Meditations
Hello! I'm Allen Greeley and I love thinking and meditating on Scripture. Another word for it, which we don't use very often, is pondering. When the mother of Jesus heard the shepherds retell the vision of the angels celebratory singing; the Scripture says, "Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart" (Luke 2:19). That alone is my goal with this podcast. I want us to treasure in our hearts what we hear from God and ponder it. It would be an honor to have you listen in and ponder with me. To God be the glory!

God Must Be With Those People!
Ponder with me about the completion of the wall in Jerusalem. It didn't come easily! They were jeered, threatened and discouraged. There were internal threats along the way too, but Nehemiah stepped up in leadership every time there was a crisis. So, the enemies make a full-on assault on Nehemiah in chapter 6. He deals with every temptation beautifully and the wall is completed in 52 days, to the astonishment of the nation's surrounding Jerusalem. There could only be one explanation...to God be the glory!
