Hello! I'm Allen Greeley and I love thinking and meditating on Scripture. Another word for it, which we don't use very often, is pondering. When the mother of Jesus heard the shepherds retell the vision of the angels celebratory singing; the Scripture says, "Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart" (Luke 2:19). That alone is my goal with this podcast. I want us to treasure in our hearts what we hear from God and ponder it. It would be an honor to have you listen in and ponder with me. To God be the glory!

Sifting Through the Dragnet
Ponder the dragnet parable with me. Matt. 13:47-50. It's not a feel-good parable. It's a parable of realism. The kingdom of heaven, on earth, isn't always what it should be. As much as we would like to get rid of all the ungodly influences within the church and be as holy and pure as God wants us to be, we cannot fully do so. Some sins are rather hidden, but not from God. When the dragnet comes in though, all will be the way it should be. In the meantime, don't be discouraged! It's a tool of the devil to use the fact that God's kingdom isn't always what it should be, as discouragement. Hang in there! You'll be glad you did, post dragnet. To God be the glory!
